The Sunny Hill Language School (SHLS) welcomes pupils of 11 – 15 from Europe, giving them the opportunity to practise their spoken English language skills in a truly authentic English setting and enabling them to make rapid progress.

We welcome both boys and girls for a one week, fully immersive stay with their teachers during term time, with the added opportunity to interact with our own school pupils.

'It was one of the best experiences of my life; everything was super!' - Wout, aged 14

Before your trip, we work closely with you to ensure that we match the different tastes and interest of your pupils, carefully catering for the specific level of language you require. We offer you a six day trip (5 nights away) where we host your pupils and staff in our own exclusive accommodation, providing full board and a diverse programme of activities to suit your pupils.

We run our teaching programme in a beautiful, safe environment with fully-qualified and friendly staff under the guidance of our school’s expert subject teachers. You will have the exclusive use of our Language School during your stay; your pupils are accompanied by you and taught by us, ensuring that their parents can be safe in the knowledge that they will have an authentic English language trip to England like no other.

The Sunny Hill Language School has a unique approach, which makes culture accessible to all English language learners and aims to develop their language skills in context.

Our aim is to boost linguistic confidence and awaken an awareness and appreciation of all things English in your students: to foster a life-long enjoyment of English language and culture.
